Everything Everywhere All at Once Dinobatkan sebagai Best Picture Oscar 2023

Academy Awards ke-95 telah suskes diselenggarakan di Dolby Theatre Los Angeles, California, dengan Jimmy Kimmel sebagai pembawa acara. “Everything Everywhere All at Once” (EEAAO) mendominasi Oscar 2023 dengan total kemenangan 7 penghargaan termasuk Best Picture.

Michelle Yeoh sebagai bintang utama dalam movie tersebut juga dinobatkan sebagai Best Actress. Sejarah kembali diukir dengan kemenangan Michelle Yeoh sebagai wanita Asia pertama nan menangkan Best Actress di Oscar. Diikuti dengan tokoh musuh mainnya, Ke Huy Quan nan juga telah memenangkan banyak penghargaan musim ini, akhirnya sekarang sempurna dengan dinobatkannya tokoh Vietnam ini sebagai Best Supporting Actor oleh Oscar. Sementara Best Supporting Actress jatuh pada Jamie Lee Curtis nan juga bagian dari cast EEAAO. 

Lebih terkenal sebagai tokoh komedi sepanjang karirnya, akhirnya Brendan Fraser dinobatkan sebagai Best Actor melalui penampilannya sebagai laki-laki pengidap obesitas dalam “The Whale”. Mengalahkan Autin Butler dan Collin Farrell nan juga menjadi kandidat kuat tahun ini.

Guillermo del Toro kembali naik panggung Oscar untuk movie animasi stop-motion-nya “Pinocchio” nan dinobatkan sebagai Best Animated Feature Film tahun ini. Sebelumnya del Toro telah memenangkan penghargaan Best Director dan Best Picture untuk movie drama fantasinya, “The Shape of Water” pada 2018 silam.

“All Quiet on the Western Front” jadi movie Jerman nan juga banyak mendapat pengharagaan pada Oscar tahun ini. Film nan disutradarai oleh Edward Berger ini membawa pulang 4 penghargaan termasuk Best International Feature Film.
